A delegation from Leeds attended the Molecular Med Tri-Con 2017 in San Francisco in February 2017. A poster outlining the Leeds’s pioneering approach for accelerating new innovations into clinical care won first prize at this international conference which brings together professionals from industry, healthcare and academia to focus on discovery, genomics, diagnostics and information technology.
The trip was funded by the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) to promote Leeds’s strength in Personalised Medicine and Health to global industry players. A podcast interview with Dr Smith and Dr Messenger is available.
